MyHeating Designer started from a concrete need: plan a hydronic underfloor heating system for a private house build — with traceable pipe lengths, sensible pipe spacing, and a first heat loss estimate, not just sketches on paper.

What was missing on the market

For Mac, there was practically no option in the “DIY price segment” for homeowners. Professional HVAC suites often cost around €200 per month — reasonable for firms that use them daily, but hard to justify for a one-off personal project.

Heavy one-time tools on other platforms can cost several hundred euros and are built for full 3D/BIM workflows — more than needed for a focused UFH layout.

In between, something was missing: native macOS software that stays on the floor plan, uses real formulas for planning guideline values, and remains usable for DIY users and small installers.

MyHeating Designer does not replace a certified DIN/EN heat-loss calculation or manufacturer hydraulic guarantees. All values shown are planning estimates. Before ordering and installation, inputs and results should be reviewed by a qualified professional.

There is no automatic spiral/meander generation as the main feature — heating circuits are drawn manually and fully editable afterwards. That matches the goal: plan with control, not “the software designs everything”.
